The UPS Store Helps SMU Students Return Home for the Summer

Dallas, TX, April 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The UPS Store ® located on the corner of E. Mockingbird and Greenville is helping local students pack and ship their belongings home for the summer break. Between now and the end of the semester, students can bring clothes, books and more to The UPS Store where it all will be properly packed and shipped home or to their summer destination.
“Between finals and saying goodbye to friends, the end of the school year can be stressful and busy for students," said David Jones, owner of The UPS Store. “Our certified packing professional can help ease some of the stress so they can focus on studying.” In addition, they will deliver and pickup boxes at no additional charge.
“And no item is too big,” added Jones. “Our freight services are a great option for the student who needs to ship a couch or small refrigerator home. Our trained staff will not only pack it properly but also arrange to have it delivered right to the student’s front door.”
For the do-it-yourselfer, The UPS Store carries a variety of supplies, such as small, medium and large boxes, dish pack and wardrobe boxes, tape, bubble pack and foam peanuts.
The UPS Store is offering SMU students 50% off boxes when they show student identification. Their hours are 8:00am to 7:00pm Monday – Friday and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays. For more information or to schedule a pickup or please call 214-824-5100.
